Birmingham Homebuyers LLC officially began doing business in 2018, but our Birmingham native founders have been in the real estate industry since the 1980’s. Birmingham Home Buyers is a team of experienced real estate investors in Birmingham, Alabama!
Co Founder Jason Lesueur started out as a real estate agent in the 1980’s and has experience as a Realtor, a home flipper, a landlord, a property wholesaler, property management, as well as ties to the mortgage industry.
Our other Co Founder, TJ Sayers, began in the Real Estate industry in 2013 buying and selling vacant properties in Birmingham. In 2014 Jason and TJ started Partners Direct Invest, LLC which bought houses in Birmingham and held rental properties.
Attorneys and accountants advised that we should have separate entities for “flipping” and for “renting” so we launched Birmingham Homebuyers, LLC in 2018. Since 2014 the two companies have bought over 1000 houses, apartment buildings and land right here in Birmingham and Central Alabama! There is not much we have not seen, which gives us the advantage of a long track record of understanding a wide variety situations so that we can serve all of our client’s needs. Our Team Of Real Estate Investors
Co-Owner: Jason LeSueur
Jason grew up in Tarrant, AL. He has been involved in real estate for over 30 years in every facet. From mortgage lending and home inspections to being a real estate agent and investor, Jason has experience in all sides of the industry. Jason has been buying and renting homes in the Birmingham area for over 25 years and currently serves as a co-owner of Birmingham HomeBuyers, LLC. Outside of real estate he enjoys golf and spending time with his family. He attends Church of the Highlands and lives in Alabaster with his wife Natalie, daughter Jordan, son Dylan, and dog Trip.
Co-Owner: TJ Sayers
After growing up in Hueytown, AL, TJ attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga as a member of the wrestling team, later winning a Southern Conference championship. After graduating, he was the head wrestling coach at Hoover High School as well as the head wrestling coach at Warrior Wrestling Club. From 2011 on, he began delving into real estate through buying homes as well as owning Warrior Lawn Services. In 2013, Jason and TJ joined together to form Birmingham HomeBuyers, LLC. He attends Flint Hill Baptist Church and now lives in Hoover with his wife Kim, daughter Dallas, son Cash and three dogs.
Office Manager: Lori Ozley
Lori grew up in Tarrant, AL, before attending The University of Alabama at Birmingham and receiving a degree in elementary education. Upon graduating, she worked in sales and as the office manager for Blake Advertising. She began working with Birmingham HomeBuyers, LLC in 2015 and handles all incoming calls, manages rental accounts, maintains calendars and aids in marketing. She now lives in Birmingham with her husband Mark, sons Justin & Josh, daughter Anna and dogs Shug and Toby and cat Russell.
Acquisitions Manager: Frank Powell
Frank grew up in the Center Point area of Birmingham. He worked in the sporting goods industry for over 30 years. He started in a retail store, later worked in the distribution center before moving to the team side of the industry where he would eventually become the vice president of Hibbett Sports in charge of Hibbett Team Sales. He began working with Birmingham Homebuyers in November of 2019 as the acquisitions manager. Frank and his wife Tammy live in Trussville Al. and attend Church of the Highlands.
Dispositions Manager: Wayne Jones
Wayne grew up in Gadsden, AL, before serving in the United States Army. After leaving the military, he worked as Director of Business Planning for a private brand of Saks Inc. After leaving Saks, he worked as the Executive Director for Career Development Operations at Education Corporation of America. He began working with Birmingham HomeBuyers, LLC in 2018 and maintains relations with other investors. He attends Holy Infant of Prague and lives in Clay with his wife Cecelia, daughters Emilee and Lauren, son Jack and dogs Cooper and Sam.
